Let's talk flowers. I'm still madly in the love with the gorgeous bouquet that Lindsay crafted. That girl is talented. I wanted something sprawling with a lot of greenery and herbs - something that felt like me. But I was awful at describing what I wanted. I'm sure I sounded like a wishy-washy wreck of a person, sending messes of pinterest links and needing more reassurance than what was in her contract. But it turned out amazing, as did all of the arrangements, smaller bouquets and boutonnieres for the men folk. In all of the arrangements, Lindsay used sage, rosemary and lavender to complement poufy white flowers (garden roses and peonies) and sprawling greens.
And while I'm talking about Lindsay, can I just say that she singlehandedly ran our wedding after I mentally checked out the day before. She's an angel and I sing her praises any chance I get.
